The RMHF2 from SMC is a long-stroke pneumatic 2-finger parallel gripper that was specially developed for use with collaborative robots and enables flexible handling of workpieces of different sizes.
The gripper is designed to work with collaborative robots and its long stroke provides a versatile solution for handling workpieces of varying sizes. With a gripping force of 90 N for both external and internal gripping, it ensures a secure hold. The gripper is equipped with an integrated manual tool changer that enables easy and quick installation by simply connecting an air supply hose and an electrical cable. This significantly reduces set-up time. Thanks to the integrated solenoid valve, air consumption can be reduced by up to 80% compared to external installations, resulting in more efficient use of resources. The RMHF2 is compatible with collaborative robots from twelve leading manufacturers, including Universal Robots, OMRON/TECHMAN ROBOT, FANUC, YASKAWA Electric and Mitsubishi Electric, enabling seamless integration into existing automation systems.
