The RMHS3 from SMC is a pneumatic 3-finger gripper that was specifically developed for use with collaborative robots and enables precise handling of cylindrical workpieces.
SMC's RMHS3 gripper is designed to work with collaborative robots and is particularly suitable for axial gripping of cylindrical workpieces. With an opening/closing stroke of 8 mm per finger and a gripping force of 118 N (external gripping) or 130 N (internal gripping), it offers reliable performance for various applications. The gripper is equipped with an integrated manual changer that enables easy and quick tool changes, thus increasing efficiency in production processes. It is compatible with collaborative robots from twelve manufacturers, including Universal Robots, OMRON/TECHMAN ROBOT, FANUC, YASKAWA Electric and Mitsubishi Electric, which facilitates flexible integration into existing systems. The plug-and-play functionality of the RMHS3 enables operation by simply connecting an air supply and an electrical cable, simplifying installation and commissioning.
